For nearly 30 years, Peoria Rescue Ministries has supported Gospel-training ministries in Eastern Europe. Read below to learn more about the endeavors and vision of these ministries.
Latvian Biblical Center - Riga, Latvia
The Latvian Biblical Centre is a non-denominational school which aims to educate church leadership and lay people through practical application of God’s Word and training in ministry skills.
LBC's vision
- Equip - men and women with a Christ-centered theological knowledge and enable them to apply this knowledge in the market place, their churches and a wider community in Latvia
- Build bridges - between different churches and denominations through dialogue and work on a variety of projects.
- Respond - spiritually to intellectual challenges and material needs in a meaningful and strategic way.
Realis - Kiev, Ukraine
The Research Education and Light Center, known as REALIS, is an interdisciplinary center that trains Christian leaders and specialists and develops projects for strengthening the Christian witness to contemporary society.
The mission of REALIS is to help people to integrate the reality of Christ into the reality of their everyday life.
REALIS came into being as:
- A tool for building a communication bridge between the church and society
- An answer to the request of several Evangelical national leaders from Ukraine and Russia to build a seminary for Christian leadership training
