As part of our men's long-term recovery program, residents provide a valuable service to the community by recycling thousands of tons of wood annually.  Through the program, men gain job experience and a small financial allowance as they work to:

• Repair reusable pallets

• Dismantle pallets for parts

• Build pallets

• Grind unusable material for landscaping mulch

This work program also gives the participants the opportunity to:

• Contribute to ministry while helping the environment

• Learn marketable job skills

• Enhance self-esteem

• Develop a work ethic

• Obtain life skills
