Become a neighbor

Peoria Rescue Ministries could not help thousands of people in our community each year without depending on its faithful volunteers, which we call neighbors.  No matter what your gifts or talents are, God has a unique place for you to serve!  From a seemingly simple act of serving a meal to forming relationships with clients as a 'high impact' volunteer, there are many ways in which you can make a difference in the lives of those hurting and in need in our community.

Join us in serving our King and loving our neighbors!

“One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, 'Of all the commandments, which is the most important?''The most important one,' answered Jesus, 'is this: Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these” (Mark 12:28-31).
