It was truly a successful evening. https://peoriarescue.org/images/HopeRising2021/2021_HopeRising-79.jpg Breaking bread together PRM is a relational ministry. We serve our neighbors in need, and they jump at the chance to do the same? Why? Because of how the gospel of Jesus makes them feel, and how much they wish to share in it. https://peoriarescue.org/images/HopeRising2021/2021_HopeRising-80.jpg Event Staff We can't say how important it was to have a professional presence with our event staff. https://peoriarescue.org/images/HopeRising2021/2021_HopeRising-81.jpg More of those smiling faces! So much joy was shown at HOPERISING! https://peoriarescue.org/images/HopeRising2021/2021_HopeRising-98.jpg Hard at work Daniel and Phillip take a quick break from work to snap a picture together. Why Watch? Because it takes all of us!
With all the changes necessary due to the pandemic, Hope•Rising is among them. Our annual in-person fall fundraising banquet will now be a virtual event. But we do not see it as a compromise. Instead, we see it as an opportunity.
Scheduled for Sunday, November 8th, at 7:00 pm, it will be approximately 1 hour long and will serve as our premier online showing of the program, with public showings occurring much later.
In addition to client testimonials, ministry updates and a facility tour, we are excited to share that noted poverty expert Dr. Brian Fikkert will be re-joining us for this year's event.
We’ll explore what poverty alleviation means to PRM and how you can partner with us to create Pathways out of Poverty through Jesus.
You may remember from last year that Dr. Fikkert was our guest speaker. For those unfamiliar with Dr.Fikkert, he is best known as the co-author of the book When Helping Hurts and his newest book Becoming Whole.
