2021 Food Rave/HopeRising

An in-person HopeRising returns this fall, and we are so looking forward to seeing each of you. We are in the initial planning stages for our event and will soon share more details with you about how it all will look. Here are some of the elements that we are sure will happen. We will have a one-hour program with Peter Greer, the CEO of Hope International will be our featured speaker, and Jon Rocke is giving an update on what God has been doing at PRM. As always, we will have stories from our guests about how God has been at work in their lives, incredible food to eat, and finally, we will also use a portion of our evening to share with you some of our plans for expanding our Enterprise programs. We are currently planning to host this event toward the end of October or early November. More details will be coming soon, so stay tuned!

Cat Matching Gift

We just wanted to say thank you to all who have selected Peoria Rescue Ministries as part of your giving through the Caterpillar Matching Gifts Program. There is something beautiful that happens when a company and its employees, both past and present, work together to make a difference in their community. The significant amount of your combined donations directly helps men and women take the next step in moving toward their own Pathway Out of Poverty through Jesus. At the heart of all you are doing is positive life impact for the lost and forgotten in our community. For that we are truly grateful.

OVERVIEW
The Caterpillar Foundation is proud to offer the year-round Matching Gifts Program to support our U.S. employees, retirees and board of directors in their contributions to worthy causes. For gifts made in the year 2021 and beyond, eligible Caterpillar participants may request an annual combined total maximum match of $10,000 each calendar year to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits and accredited public/private preK-12 schools or school districts in the U.S. to which contributions are tax deductible. Please reference full guidelines and FAQs below.

Golf Outing Results

We were blessed with a gorgeous day to play golf and had 151 golfers participate this year. The golf outing gives all of the golfers who participate a wonderful opportunity to get to meet and interact with the men and women who are currently in our programs while out on the golf course. The date for our golf outing next year is on Monday June 13th at Mt. Hawley CC. Please put this on your calendar and tell all of your friends about it as well
