Information Technology Support Specialist (Accepting resumes through October 1, 2020)

Role Overview:  This role requires a follower of Jesus with a heart of compassion and a desire to use your gifts in providing information technology support throughout Peoria Rescue Ministries.  The role will provide coordination and oversight of all IT needs working with our outside technology service provider to maintain hardware and software equipment. Also critical to this role is troubleshooting and solving minor IT issues internally in a timely fashion to support ministry operations and maximize employee productivity.       

Role Details:

  • Schedule: Part Time (5-15 hours/week estimated with flexibility and fluctuation in hours. Availability needed during normal weekday business hours.)
  • Key Experience/Skills Requirements: High school diploma required; Experience must be IT related but may be demonstrated by both paid or unpaid experience.
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    • Point of contact for all employees’ software and hardware needs
    • Problem solves all IT issues throughout facilities
    • Coordinates service with outside providers when required
    • Reviews and recommends most cost-effective IT purchases as needed
    • Coordinates and oversees all IT equipment movement throughout facilities
